It was a good hotel, you get as advertised. Not flashy but good for a stay and a place to sleep.
The check-in was easy and they were welcoming and hospitable at the front desk. Got my keys and luggage escorted up to the room with help from the service man. There was 2 water bottles, 4 empty cups for coffee, sugar/cream, tea kettle and a mini fridge. The bed was comfy and the room was good for the amount I feel especially during the Ramadan season. There's also a market right in front for stuff to take to the hotel with you also some food places in the area which I didn't know about.
To get to the haram the walk does take some time truth be told, I was with my older brother and we're both young men so going for Umrah and getting to the entrance of the haram did take some time. I would say a good 20-25 minutes walk if you're walking pretty fast and if you wanted to get to the clock tower from where the hotel is then it's an additional 20 minutes so in total 40-45 minutes. If you have elderly family members or a family with kids I'd suggest getting a hotel right in front of the haram or near the haram but if you are young, able to walk and like to walk then this hotel is fine. I have nothing negative to say about the hotel, I'd say it's as advertised otherwise.
